Laundry

I am carrying the laundry basket from our master bedroom closet to the laundry room.
Caroline: when you are done with the basket, put it back.
Mommy:what?
Caroline: I said, when you are done with the basket, please put it back.

swiffer

" I need a wipe please Mommy" Caroline says as she brings me the swiffer mop stick. I say "No" she says "yes" and disappears only to return with baby wipes..."Here mommy, I clean".

German Chocolate Cake

Caroline and I were sharing a piece of German Chocolate cake. I was taking my bite and she was waiting, but I guess I just wasn't quick enough. She says with great disgust, "Wow. That sure was a big bite!". She had the rest...who needs that humiliation?

Snack Time

Caroline goes into the pantry and points to the Lucky Charms. "Those please Mommy". I get them for her. She then finds the napkins an plates left over from her birthday that I was going to reuse for the baptism of the twins. She gets one to use with her dry cereal.
Mommy: "Put that back please Caroline"
Caroline: "I'm going to use just one, alright Mommy" and she walks away.
Three guesses who the boss is around here...

Wednesday

Mommy: Caroline, please hand me the remote control to the TV.
Caroline: No, I just want the TV off.

Mommy: How is that pizza CareBear?
Caroline: It's good, but washcloth please. I a mess.
