Documentation of a Fight

Sam and Emma love this decorative pillow. It has a handle made of pearls and they fight over it all the time (a roomm full of toys, and they are fighting over a pillow...). I decided to grab the camera this last time.
Emma had it first and Sam tried to take it. She had enough and took it on the run.

still running...

taking it behind the couch

even further behind the couch

finally, a safe place to play with it without fearing Sam taking it from her

but there he is again!

he tries swipe it

and the chase begins again...

Sunday Cookies

I usually bake something on the weekends and now that Caroline is older, she enjoys helping. Here she is mixing and rolling the cookies into balls (clean hands). Hers look a little different from mine, but who cares? The only thing we really need to work on is her not taking a bite from each cookie that she rolls before putting them on the baking tray.
Yumm-O!

TGIF

Caroline enjoying the beautiful sunshine and her big, backyard!

Munching on saltine crackers while I was making grilled cheese sandwiches...

New car seats! The van is now at full capacity, but they seem to be more comfortable. Caroline loves that hers matches Emma's.

Beautiful Day, C'mon Let's Play!

This morning before school, the kids played so nicely together and then after school, we got to get outside in this beautiful weather! I also cleaned out our car and installed the new car seats...it's a big day here! I am so thankful for the time lately that all three children are playing so sweetly together!

Poor Little Things

The twins go down for a nap around 10 a.m. This morning, we dropped Caroline of at school at 9, ran some errands, and were back in time for the 10 a.m nap. Instead of sleeping, they talked, played, sang, and cried. They probably went down around 11 or so, which is sad because we leave to get Caroline around 11:45. This meant that I had to wake them ( I hate waking up a sleeping baby. I guess it is because I really can't stand being awakened myself!). This is the sweet sight I saw when getting them up...luckily, they greeted me with sweet smiles and didn't seem to hold a grudge.

Kristen

Mommy: You can watch one more show, then the TV goes off and we have some lunch.

Caroline: Got it, Kristen

Mommy: What did you call me?

Caroline: I called you, Kristen. That is your name, Mommy, right?,
