Sis Boom

I am a huge fan of Jennifer Paganelli. She is a talented designer with an incredible line of the most beautiful fabric (and the softest too!). Here are just a few of the many she has designed:
Jennifer is also the lady behind Sis Boom, the one-of-a-kind vintage product line that offers fabric, stationery, sewing patterns, and a very special book. Look at some of her sewing patterns (she works with Carla Crim of the Scientfic Seamstress)...aren't they awesome?! Truly, between these patterns and her fabrics, you can create boutique pieces of your very own!

I had to write to Jennifer and tell her just how much I love her work. Her style and pieces are so happy (don't they remind you of a vacation?) that I had to reach out to her. After conversing with her, I learned that she is just as beautiful inside and out as the designs she creates. She very generously sent me a book of the most lovely notecards (each card printed with a piece of her fabric...I plan to frame a few of mine!) and a book to giveaway to you! Once I flipped through the book she sent for you, I had to get me own! She also sent me a piece of fabric (Maeve was the name of this sweet fabric) and the girls and I made the sweetest little zippered pouches...can't wait to buy more of her fabric for dresses!
The girl's love her book, Girl's World, which is filled with ideas, projects, and patterns to make dresses, banners, pillows, and accessories for the girls in your life. It is not only beautiful to look at but for gift giving as well. What makes this book even more special is that she inscribed it and signed it for you! I know you'll treasure your copy (and have a hard time deciding what to make first) as much as I do. Visit Jennifer...you'll love her! If you are a follower and want a copy of this sweet book, leave me a comment! I'd love to hear what you would like to make!

  8. I really LOVE Jennifer Paganellis fabrics, especially her new collection "Honey Child". Unfortunately my distributor won't import them, so I had to buy some directly from USA.
I would love to make my 6 year old niece a pretty dress from the book!

  9. I'm a big fan of Jennifer's fabrics and love that Patricia tunic, too! I keep debating over buying the pattern.

I'm sure I would make my daughter all sorts of things from the book, but I would probably start with the Agnes Tunic Dress since fall is coming.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  13. I've been following Jennifer at Sisboom for sometime and truly wish I could live near her to attend her event she had recently because I really enjoy her beautiful fabrics. I think Honey Child has to be my all time favorite though AND I would love to use the fabric to make myself the Jamie dress. I've had my eye on that for a while now.

Thank for the lovely giveaway and thank you as well to Jennifer.

  18. I've had this book on my Amazon wish list since it came out! It looks fabulous!!!

I remember when Harry Potter first came out and I just had to write to the author to let her know how much I loved her book. She wrote me a personal note back, too. It's so nice to meet the real people behind the creations!

    Thanks for the giveaway!
